NAT Type Unavailable, Unable to obtain a teredo IP - Using TP Link Deco M4 Mesh (Access Point mode)

Hi All - having problems using Xbox Live online multiplayer (chat too), keep getting NAT type unavailable error and unable to obtain teredo IP.

My set up is Sky Hub SR203 router with a TP Link Deco M4 mesh network set up in access point mode.

I've tried port forwarding the suggested ports using guides/suggestions on Sky and TP link forums, but no luck.

Any help appreciated!

@Vern+A all Sky hubs fully support IP6 and if your Deco system is set to Access Point mode that will not be blocking the XBox from connecting.

This query comes up every now and this page talks you through what to check a hub reboot is a very sensible first step. With your SR203 hub should be set to have UPnP on by default but check the hub's settings. You may need to open some firewall ports and forwarding them to the XBox if using some chat systems.  I would not use the DMZ option except for testing as you open your console to hacking as thst completly removes tge firewall and you should not require to disable IP6.

Thanks @Chrisee - Tried this again this weekend, still not working. Still getting same error "NAT Type: unavailable". Any other suggestions?

Is it just Sky FTTP doesn't work well for online gaming services
