Moving home

I am moving home in five days time to a house that already has Sky. I have ordered new TV & Broadband for that house. But I have not cancelled the account I have at my current home, and cannot find out how to do it without it affecting the new order for the new house. Also I didn't merntion I was an existing customer (probably a VIP customer) - there was nowehere to say that. I think I have done it all horribly wrong!

@skystratDid you do this as a home move with Sky or start out a complete new order for Sky at the new property?

Re: Moving home

As a new order. I thought that's what I had to do.

@skystratIf you already have Sky at your old property you can ask Sky to move them for you, thus not needing to put in a new order.

The advisor should have asked you if you already had Sky and would be better doing a home move.

Re: Moving home

Thanks @Highlinder for your advice. I have now spoken to a very helpful chap at Sky who has cancelled my 'new' order and will 'move' me instead, with a better financial deal.

Really appreciate your help!
