Hi Sky community
We live in a newbuild development and currently have a SkyQ and a Seethelight broadband account, both provided on the OFNL (Open Fibre Networks Ltd) network.
Since Sky have now bought SeeTheLight, I wanted to merge the accounts (sign up for SkyQ+Netflix+UltraFast @£50/month) and assumed this would be straightfoward, but when I called to upgrade the sky package (to include the broadband) I was hit with a 'computer says no' - supposedly my address doesn't show as available for broadband because "you are not on the BT Openreach network". (despite that fact that I have been getting broadband from a [now] Sky-subsidiary company for years already)
How can I get round this? - Essentially I currently have a SkyQ and broadband from a Sky-owned company and yet I still cant consolidate these accounts to save £ ?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@eastlondonuser you would have to speak to Sky but there is nothing I can see that you can buy a Sky broadband connection using your network all Sky broadband is currently over Openreach lines it may happen at some point in the furure but in large companies these things take time. However See the light can sell Sky TV packages so thst seems a sensible way forward.
If you are in a minimum term contract with Sky for Sky Q its worth asking them to release you from that in these circumstances. If you ask nicely they are often quite flexible but I expect you would have to call into to their retentions team or raise a complaint see How to make a Sky complaint | Sky Help | Sky.com

Sky Group (Comcast) ownership of StL doesn't currently translate to any crossover of products or subscriptions. Frankly that acquisition is a bit if a mystery.

Thanks @Chrisee - I will try the avenue of getting the sky TV package added to the SeeTheLight subscription ! 🙂
