Moving home broadband

I am moving home tomorrow and sky are coming to install it. My broadband has gone off at my present property today.is this usual?

@JamesAnderson_- If you are moving out of the property today then it is nornal as you are moving your service to a new property with a home move.

@JamesAnderson_- Sometimes it can happen with moving as they presume that you no longer need the service at the old property and having it set up at the new property that you can connect straight away without having to wait.

There is usually a crossover of around 24hrs where no service is active at either the old or new property.
