Moving from Sky to Virgin but have no working landline.

Hello. We are moving to Sky from Virgin. We've been with them since we moved to our house 8 years ago. We have never used the landline in the time here. We've been told that Sky will connect use on Tuesday and that we need to plug our router into the phone socket. But there is no dial tone on the socket so I assume our landline doesn't work. I can't seem to speak to anyone from Sky so don't think the connection will work on Tuesday and don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@BrooklynBridge As you haven't been using the BT line it will have been deactivated, the process on Tuesday is an engineer from Openreach will visit both the exchange and the street cabinet that your property is connected to activate the line(this is assuming you are not having full fibre installed).
