Move ONT box
I need my ONT box moving from my kitchen into another room as having a new kitchen fitted and it is in the way.
I didnt want it there in the forst place but it was during coved and they said that was the only place they could do it by the door.
Does anyone know who I contact for this?

For information: there's at least one supplier of a DIY relocation kit for an ONT.

I have seen those but I owuldnt recommend it as you still have to connect to the original one.

It's a back-to-back junction with the original fibre and then a long length of pigtail so the original ONT can be moved. The theory is fine (and optical junctions are used all the time on in-premises business networks) but the legitimacy of messing with what's still technically the national network is perhaps dubious.

Yeah im aware of what it is, but it might not be helpful in this case as the OP states that the opriginal one is in the way
