Max pod not connected and I can’t get onto my sky

We got a Nax hub yesterday with a max pod. Since plugging them in the pod doesn't work. Seems to connect then doesn't. Our WiFi signal I. The house is worse than it was with the old router. I've tried to connect to MySky app to see if the pod is on there as connected but it keeps asking what card I use to buy Sky Glass!!! I can't get past it and we have Skype Q not Glass😡😡😡

Have you downloaded  the sky max information on to your  my sky app using  the qr code  that came with  the hub to set it up ?

Yes, I've now got into my sky app and the Hub is listed but not the pod.  In the info online it says you might need to add manually with the serial number but I can't see where to do this😒
