Manually connect a Playstation 5 console
Hi My new PlayStation 5 will not automatically connect to my Sky router. Playstation have sympathised with my frustration and said for me to manually enter the connection aI need
IP address
Subnet Mask
Default Gateway
Will these all be on the 192.168.01 web site after the Login ?
Many Thanks

Re: Manually connect a Playstation 5 console
Default gateway is the same as the Hub IP address: 192.168.0.1
Subnet mask is typically 255.255.255.0
Client IP address is 192.168.0.x where x is any number between 1 and 254 which isn't already in use by another device.
I'd caution that if the console isn't picking up an address automatically, there's probably another issue and manual addressing is unlikely to work.

Re: Manually connect a Playstation 5 console
Thanks very much for the support and details of how to manually get the PS5 WiFi connection. I had a think - if there is a fault then a full reset would be the best option This returns the PS5 to its factory settings - out of the box. Did that and WiFi connected in less than 2 seconds!!! Taking your advice though I've told the supplier if the WiFi connection starts to drop out then I will return it. I will never know why I had to struggle to get the connection that day but thanks again for responding so quickly that day. Happy New Year
