Re: MOBILE INTERNET DEVICE
We are fellow subscribers here on the forum. NO NEED TO SHOUT! Given that we don't know where you live, know information on your set up, we couldn't possibly advise.
The one thing we can tell you is that there are a number of reports of issues with mobile providers. Everything from the supplied 5G router not playing nice with Sky Glass to IP addresses being non UK ones resulting in loss of service.
I'd persevere with getting broadband or look at switch to Sky Q.

If you can receive full fibre broadband at your new property then you don't need a phone socket. Openreach or any other independent full fibre ISP will install an ONT instead. When connected to the appropriate modem/router it will provide you with a full fast and stable fibre broadband connection, perfectly suitable for Sky Glass and any other devices needing a network connection. It can also be used for VOIP services, whereby your 'landline' comes via broadband rather than a phone socket and copper cables.

Re: MOBILE INTERNET DEVICE
@craig3408 Although you mentioned SKy Glass the post is primarily concerned with a broadband connection so have moved this to the relevent section.

Re: MOBILE INTERNET DEVICE
@craig3408 if you do decide to go with mobile broadband make sure you get a service with unlimited data as Sky streaming services use lots of data! Systems from Three seem to work.
Getting a fixed line installed is not necessarily complicated its what Openreach do everyday but it will involve driilling holes which in rented property requires landlord's consent..

Re: MOBILE INTERNET DEVICE
@craig3408 you are limited to services over a copper line with a maximum speed of 80Mb/s which would appear to be in place so you should be able to place an order but whether the line can be connected without upsetting the conservation people st your LA is something you would have to check. Personally Inwould see if mobile broadband was not a better solution.

Re: MOBILE INTERNET DEVICE
Please note g.fast which sky sells at 150Mbps is green. It may be worth requesting it if you require more than 80Mbps. G.fast is been phased out at the minute but may be green status due to living in a listed building as it uses the same copper line that fttc vdsl uses
