@Circlelee What do you have, there are two types off install full and home, SKY know what was there before, VM does not connect so you just want to get that into your head, VM is for VM only....
If you also had OR Openreach before in the property then that is where sky syatem connect's too, OR will take care off all outside work connecting you up, and you plug in the sky box and on the ACTIVATION date you hope it all works.
You want sky to do it for you then you need to call them up, expect the installation charge that you may or may not have to pay, it is £100 and not a freebe...
