Last bill taken after cancellation, refund has not happened.

We cancelled sky after our contract finished, and I was assured (I have it in writing) that after my last bill payment was taken AFTER the cancellation had been completed that it would be automatically repaid in to my bank account. This hasn't happened. Anyone know what I can do please? I don't have a sky account anymore so apparently I can't make a complaint or speak the the bot (who's not exactly helpful anyway), so I'm left being owed £46 with no way of contacting anyone to get it back.

They appear to be taking longer than the standard 6 weeks.

 

We could normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately the process is currently switched off and we don't know when it'll return.

 

At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps. Saying nothing when asked the reason for your call usually helps in getting put in the queue. You shoukd still be able to call.
