Laptop super slow Wi-Fi, all other devices fine

Laptop achieves 3-4 m/s download speed on speedtest.net whether wired or wireless. Phones e.g. iPhone 11, iphone SE, achieve more or less 500 mb/s download speed on wi-fi. Laptop use Z-scaler VPN. Laptop achieves 30-40 mb/s on other wireless connections.

What is the VPN for? Work? 

Can you try a speedtest without the VPN connected?
