You had me Googling all of those acronyms to work out what it all is 🙂 Microsoft Flight Sim addonss for reference.
Sky broadband (or any broadband) can't stop an app from opening on your computer, it's possible that it's blocked access to what it considers or has been reported as a dodgy site (do you have Sky Shield by any chance) but honestly, try theFSdreamteamm forum and ask on there. There'll be vastly more experienced people on there who should be able to help.
Meanwhile, re-enable all of your security software.

@NicolaR2026 sensible advice from @Me134 the only thing likely to block access from Sky's network is the Broadband Shield setting you can control via the My Sky app. See https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-broadband-shield-start
