Issue with wifi

Hi, my name is Khadija Ali. My address is 16 Ferguson Court,

I spoke to one of your advisers this morning regarding the constant broadband dropouts I’ve been experiencing for months. I explained that I’ve had a lot of personal and health issues, which is why I haven’t been able to chase this sooner. After running through the troubleshooting, I was told an engineer would contact me within 3 days to arrange a visit, as the issue could be with the hub, internal wiring or another fault that needs investigating.

I’ve now received a text saying no network fault was found. If that’s the case, why was I told an engineer would be arranged? This is exactly the sort of thing that has happened with Sky before, and I’m really unhappy with the service.

I don’t have time to keep going round in circles over an issue that has been ongoing for months. I need an engineer booked as soon as possible to properly investigate and resolve this.

If you can’t arrange an engineer promptly, I’ll be switching to Community Fibre as soon as possible because I need a reliable broadband service and I’m no longer willing to keep wasting my time chasing the same issue.

@Khadijahali_ you are posting in a public forum and not talking to Sky. An engineer from the network provider checked your line as you got the text. Most Openreach and City Fibre engineering checks arecdone remotely. If there is no evidencecof a fault when tested the call is closed. That doesnt mean there isnt a fault but if it is intermittent as many are unless it hapoens during the test it cannot becdiagnosed.

You need to report that the fault is still happening it is quite likely that Sky will sugggest swapping thevhub to see if that sorts it. To help I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.
