Is this genuine?
I've just had a phone call from someone claiming to be from Sky. He says our area has been converted to full fibre and - at no extra cost to our contract - they will convert us to full fibre.
Is it really someone from Sky? And if so, will it really be at no extra charge or will we be charged extra when our existing contract expires?

Have you checked here to see if Full Fibre (FTTP) is indeed available?

FTTP gives ISPs the opportunity to upsell speed and so charge more on renewal.

Re: Is this genuine?
Just to let everyone know...
I contacted Sky and they informed me the number is associated with scam calls. They also told me that just about two minutes into the call I received , my Sky account had been been accessed.
I've no idea what other information could have been taken from my account (bank etc). And worryingly, Sky really are not that bothered. I logged a complaint about it and was told someone would probably contact me within 72 hours....they haven't!
