The other day I was on my computer when I lost internet connection to my computer but it was fine for everything else in my house I prior to this happening I did not touch anything to do with my Ethernet or anything that could just disable my internet. I use à TP-link AV600 powerline adapter which normally has 3 green lights but only has 2 which are the bottom and top one with the middle light being off i have made sure to pair them correctly and even used 2 different adapters and numerous different Ethernet cables. On the Ethernet port in my computer the light looks red with a flashing orange light. on the troubleshoot it also just says no issues detected but before it said something about not having a valid ip configuration. I did use my mobile data for a day after it stopped working but i cannot use that anymore. So far I’ve tried
- Manually setting my IP and DNS
- Disabled and enabled adapters also uninstalled them
- Reset tcp/ip stack with netsh commands
- Resetting my router and trying different ports
- Made sure airplane mode is off
- Checked any antivirus software making its not interfering
- Tried to directly connect the computer to my sky router
- Flushed dns cache
Also when check ipconfig it doesn’t state the same ipv4 address as the ones on my other devices as it starts with 169 when on my other devices it starts with 192. Any help would be appreciated.

If the middle light on your power adaptor is off that means the adaptors have lost their connection with each other thus they'll need to be paired again.
I've had similar issues with powerline adaptors if they're on different ring circuits. I now use Moca adaptors that use the house coaxial cables which are faster and 100% stable.

If you have redundant coax aerial wiring in your home you can use that with MoCa adapters you can buy online various manufacturers. Alternatively you can buy powerline adapters which use all 3 conductors which are more reliable than the basic AV600 you have but are more expensive. I used Devolo adapters across different ring mains for several years.

well i tried it downstairs plugging it directly into my router and it worked perfectly so it must be something to do with the adapter can't be too far either because i've had it in the same spot for years without a problem

If it no longer works in the same location it could be down to something new in your home being plugged into the mains causing interference or something that was previously connected going faulty.
