Internet very poor have to use iPhone provider and turn off wifi

Internet is very poor have to turn off wifi to get on line it's so very slow and keeps freezing. It's only two mobile devices being used in the house. £84 a month seems a lot for this sort of service. We are using provider data on our phones not sky WiFi most of the time?

@Susan130 you should not be paying anthing like £84 a month for broadband so I assume you are paying some of that for other services. It is unclear if the issue is speed to the hub which is guaranteed or poor wifi speeds in your home which aren't. You can check the speed the hub is getting by running the service checker in the My Sky app which will give you the current speed if you click on the broadband link it will give more information including the history for the last few weeks plus the guaranteed speed. If the speed is below the guarantee the hub should show  more information about how to get thst fixed.

If that is OK then the issue is poor wifi dignal in your home which is outside Sky's control as it is affected by the layout and type of construction in your home. If you only use the broadband for your phones would it not be better to just use mobile data if the broadband speed is poor? By default iPhones will switch to use mobile data if it is faster than broadband if you dont want them to do that turn off the WiFi assist setting at the bottom of the Mobile Data settings.
