Internet keeps disconnecting or dropping

Hi I am new to sky broadband as started on 2nd October but I have been waiting for over week and I rRealised the internet keeps dropping or disconnecting and my net starts to brows or takes so long to open. Even my kids have realise thers a problem and I didn't have this with previous provider. Can you please help. As I can't keep getting this happening.
