Internet is slower

I’ve just had Full Fibre 300 installed, but the Wi-Fi across my whole house is slower and more unreliable than my old broadband setup. My phones and laptops are struggling to load basic web pages. The wireless performance is terrible—it's definitely worse than my old router. I've power-cycled it and restarted it multiple times

Good morning. Very similar issue here.

we have full fibre 75 just installed and it is noticeably slower and less 'snappy' than our old super fast copper setup.

the old setup went down and we were told that this was being replaced by fibre and that there would be an increasingly unreliable service on super fast. We reluctantly agreed to the new fibre install/contract.

we have a very simple setup, Q box and 2 iPads, occasional phone use in small flat.

this is very disappointing, we were encouraged  into a new contract and have no improvement, in fact we would prefer to go back to as we were ie super fast copper.

my wife, the other iPad user, reports the same issues without prompting from me.

any suggestions as to what we can do?

If you've moved to the Sky Max white hub, try putting your old router back in and see if that improves things.

Sunday was a family day so busy all day, tried changing back to the old (black) router this morning,

easy enough once I found the old password and connection is much improvrd, mostly in terms of finding and opening sites, pleased in fact.

any other suggestions that might improve things further?

My experience is the white Max Hub is the issue. Sky need to acknowledge this and provide a fix.
