I just moved into a new flat. Sky engineer activated broadband last Friday and internet connection dropped completely (permanently off internet light) the following day until this morning when another engineer came to fix it. This engineer said it was due to a faulty port, which he replaced and it seemed to work, but then two hours later the connection dropped again for 20 minutes or so. The same thing just happened again for 40 minutes.
When it drops, the internet light turns off, then flashes orange, then the orange is constant for a bit, then it switches off. All the other lights are green throughout this. This process repeats until eventually it connects again and all the lights turn green. It is working for the majority of the day, but I really I can't have such an unreliable connection as I'm using this to work from home.
Any help would be appreciated - thank you!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more
Are.you on part fibre fttc?
What hub do you have?
During the first 10-14 the hub can switch as it tries to determine the fastest speed so don't be tempted to switch it off yourself
Could you post your router stats

@cookiemonsteruk Thanks for getting back to me
I have the Sky Broadband Hub - I'm afraid i don't know the answer to your other question, but the first engineer did mention a cabinet at the top of the square I'm staying in if that helps.
Router stats are below:
