Internet dropping

When gaming online Internet dropping enough to kick me out of game but app says no issues on WiFi or wired any ideas please

@vwmez the lights on the hub will tell you if there is an issue with the connection see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start. The online service checker cannot pick up short line drops. If the line iscdropping frequdntly call Sky to see what they can do,

 

However you can be booted out of a game for other reasons than a loss of broadband connection. First cause can be WiFi interference if that applies reboot your hub so it finds a less congested channel. However that cannot affect a cabled connection but you can get packet loss if the hub us trying to serve multiple users at once so if you share the connection with a number of other people consider getting a third party gaming router. That is not a guarantee of trouble free gaming though as the routing to the server can get overloaded and indeed the server itself maybe over capacity.

Hi all a sky engineer got in touch and we changed two settings on the gaming pc so the Internet settings did not go to sleep if a short drop ? Over my head but it seems to have worked for me
