Since the early hours of this morning the internet is dropping (orange flashing light on the router). I've completed all the relevant checks and it keeps telling me everything is fine. Any ideas? Liverpool area

We are always giving this issue and I'd rather get a sky assistant on phone to speak to me, the number I got online doesn't get me to a human.
I'm sick, sore and tired having to switch it all off at the inlet plug on wall, wait for ages, then switch it back on, anyone else have to do this, and then a lot of the times it still isn't on. Blooming ridiculous for the price.

Before you go to the hassle of rebooting and resetting have a look at downdetector website. This will report any issues others are having in your area. It could highlight a localised problem, also report your slef to update the community. Not a direct solution but could save you unnecessary hassle!
Click on the search button and search for sky.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you have a dodgy connection you wont be alone unfortunately.Given the recent heavy rain there are inevitably loads of faults as copper cables, high frequency electrical signals and water dont mix well.
Runnthe connection test in the My Sky app which works over mobie connections as that w ill tell you if there is a known fault affecting your line if there isnt call Sky to report the issue. Calls on the Sky Talk line to 150 are free otherwise you can use any of Sky's 03 numbers you can find by following through the Contact us or need more help links. However lines will be busy.
