Internet down

The internet  has been down for 3 days. We have carried out all the recommended tasks to no avail. Everything has been switched off and the router rebooted but no good. The TV just tells us there is no Internet connection.  Please advise on the next step. Can we do this by speaking to an advisor. Thank you
