Internet cutting out in the late afternoon/evening

In intervals throughout the day my WiFi would just cut out for a minute or two but it happens far more regularly in the late afternoon and evening. It's an annoyance at best but it's definitely not something that I've experienced before in other broadband providers in this area. Any way to be able to get help? I try using the MySky app but it just never seems to pick up a problem when WiFi is down since it's only down for a few minutes at a time.

There are no changes at all to the LEDs when connection cutting occurs. It only lasts 1-2 minutes but it is annoying when it happens - especially when I'm in a work call. Any ideas how to fix this?

Actually scratch that, the internet LED light does go out, then goes into a blinking amber followed by solid amber then finally back to green.

You have raised noise margins part of which ,due to being so close to the cabinet are holding your speed to 80Mbps but also partly due to the beginnings of a line fault .

 

I would suggest your guaranteed speed is quite high and so may be worth calling sky

I tried searching the availability using my address and telephone number but it didn't come back with results? This might be a result of us being in a flat building.

 

I'll give Sky a call for sure as it's happening so often now for some reason.

Apart from the speed guarantee sky would consider it a line fault if the connection drops 10 or more times a day (24 hours)
