Had sky bb installed yesterday, connected ok at start then lost internet when connecting to Sky Q. Rebooted and factory reset router. Works for 1 minute on connecting a device then drops. I am changing one setting on the router (I am unsyncing 2.4 and 5 Hz due to an EV charger compatibility issue).
getting really frustrated as this setup should be a fire and forget exercise nowadays - sky q refuses to connect too
when I connect my phone it is warning me of insufficient security despite AES being selected?

That suggests you are using an iPhone, which also means trying to administer Hub through it is likely to be problematic.

That's correct, but it's all I have. Would it make a massive difference? It does keep booting me out and requires a lot of repeated password input

Unfortunately, yes: it appears that Safari over WiFi is currently incompatible with the built-in web server which contains the Hub settings.
