Problems joining Sky as a new customer

Why can't I sign up as a new customer for Sky Stream, Sky Entertainment & Netflix with Superfast Broadband?  I've not had Sky for years so it can't be that.

What error is it giving you? Sometimes the website is a bit funny and you'll need to clear cache & cookies. Sometimes you'll need to call if it doesnt work

Make sure you are not signed into your ld account as this will have been long since closed so you will need to sign up as a new customer.

My address doesn't appear on their drop down box.  Addresses that are about 100 yards from my home are there (my house has been here since 1960 so it isn't that).  Lots of companies seem to have issue with my address.  I did speak to someone at Sky but didn't understand what he was talking about.  It was some technical issue and I could only have Sky if I had a dish even through properties 100 yards from mine can have Sky Stream or Sky Glass!!

Well if lots of companies also have issues with your address then its likely something that needs resolving with RM or Openreach and their database. Sky do not hold their own records, they pull them in from Openreach who in turn pull it in from RM.
