Internet connection no landline

Our internet was down yesterday which made me realise I would not be able to contact emergency services as the landline is now run through broadband. It's very worrying

Unfortunately that is one of the consequences of broadband/landline connectivity.

@Jb155 From your post, you may be in the same situation as others, do you suffer from a poor mobile signal in the area where you are, i did the same but found who was the best which turned out to be O2, luckly enough sky mobile was a choice, but the EE i had before was woefull to say the least, you cannot use the coverage checker's they are as good as a chocolate teapot...

Do still rely heavilly on wi-fi calling but if it does drop BB then have a bit off mobile signal so can still use in emergency calling etc!
