Internet connection issue

Just switched to sky from virgin because I apparently didn't need 1GB internet from virgin and sky's 150mb would suit the house perfectly, literally cannot get through one game of FIFA for the lag it's unreal

Difficult to see how a 1Gbs connection can be the same as one a tenth of the speed, but that's not something an ISP can do anything about.

How are you connecting to the Sky Hub?

Your external connection will likely have no bearing on your Fifa game performance because games use such little bandwidth.

What will be a critical detail is going from the Virgin media hub's WiFi to the Sky hub which may not be providing the same latency experience.
