I was cutting some foliage outside my house and cut a cable by accident. Now
my internet is down. I have sky's and broadband with sky. Managed to book an engineer visit for 3 days time with openreach engineer but not sure if that is the right thing To have done as I didn't get a chance to explain the problem when booking (automated booking). Need help/advice what to do in general.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf the cable is outside of your property then you have done the right thing as it is not classified as your responsibility to fix it so Openreach should attend to fix it.
