Intermittent wifi service

I work from home and quite often the wifi goes down, only briefly but enough for me not to be able to email etc while it recovers itself. Plus I have a wifi extender plug that is so intermittent i no longer bother to connect to it. Should a wifi booster work with sky or is there a certain plug I need to use? We have sky q multi room and sky broadband.

@Leafy4 if you have a black Sky hub your Q tv boxesxwork as WiFi extenders. Using third party extenders with a SkyQ network can cause more issues then it solves.

If your line is dropping the lights on the hub should change and then follow tgecadvice here  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start
