Intermittent broadband

My broadband has been very intermittent for months and has now been out for over 24 hours. When you run tests it doesn't detect a problem. Could it be the router?

@Packet All depends on what software test you are using to check! Could be anything, hub, cable, home wiring, external wiring, interference from surrounding wireless hubs! 

 

Service checker may be able to indicate if area wide fault is detected by now that sky are aware off!
