Intermittent broadband

Since last Saturday my broadband had been cutting in and out. They sent me a new router and this made no difference. I was told by Sky once fibre optic was installed this would be resolved. Open Reach installed new fibre optic line yesterday. The problem is still the same and now Sky are telling me it could take up to a fortnight for the new line to settle down although the line was tested by Open Reach and the line was ok. Spoke with a BT engineer I know and he said that is a load of rubbish. Once the line has been tested and it is ok it is good to use. This is now a week with no broadband and Sky expect me to wait a fortnight for the line to settle down to see if the problem gets sorted. First time I have had issues with Sky but it has made me seriously think of leaving. Please help if you can 😭😭
