Intermittent broadband dropout

For the last few days the broadband keeps dropping out and it takes a few minutes to reboot.  I have reset everything from the hub, it's happening on  TV, phone and tablet. Sometimes I get 20 minutes when it's working, it's very random.
On Facebook this is happening to a couple of other people in the village as well, it's hard to get any work done.
Any help or suggestions please?

@Jan29 Can you please run the broadband test, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.

If someone has helped give them Like.

If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

Re: Intermittent broadband dropout

The test says broadband is fine, it is not, it is say the same problem as a couple of people are having in the village.

Broadband keeps dropping out if I go and turn off Wi-Fi on my tablet or phone and then put it on again it links up only to drop out later on this has been happening for a few days. I have an important meeting tomorrow on zoom and I need proper access, how can I get help.

I have rebooted my Wi-Fi at the hub and although it works it then keeps dropping out, thank you for your help

@Jan29 if the internet light on your hub stays green when you lose connection it sounds like poor wifi which is very common. If thst applies make sure you hub is in the open ideally on a table and way from othercwireless kit. Each house is different but if the call is important can you make it from the same room or as near as you can get to the hub or run an ethernet cable to your device ?

Re: Intermittent broadband dropout

Thanks for your help, unfortunately It is not that, my Wi-Fi has been working fine. It is only the last few days that it keeps dropping in and out regularly, hourly. There is nothing near it that could cause a problem, but also there is nothing new near it in this last week that would change the service I had. Other people who have had this locally. The test has said they book an engineer and then it's fixed. Mine says the Wi-Fi is fine, although of course 50% of the time it is working, it's the other 50% that I'm worried about,
