Intermittent Internet Connect

Hi, my Internet connection has been going on and off all day. I troubleshooter the problem and then the Internet comes back on and it advising that the connection is fine. Is there a problem in my area?

@Sara59 You are not talking to Sky by posting in the forum and nobody else knows where you are.

 

If there is a known area outage the Service checker in the My Sky app would tell you. However the recent heavy rain will inevitably cause faults with some partial fibre connections as water, copper phone lines and high frequency electrical dignals dont mix well. if it continues talk to Sky but Openreach only send our engineers where the number of drops goes above 10 a day or where the autimatic kit managing the line stops being able to stabilise the connection. This does not apply to full,fibre connections
