Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

Hello, I am also having the same issue as the people above and have tried the trouble shooting methods as advised also above. Has there been any solution given or a work around to acess streaming services like NowTV. Thanks.

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

Same here, after rebooting the hub (switching off for one hour) as suggested, there is no change.

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

I am having the exact same issue. I am in Dublin but my IP is geo locating to Wembly, UK and as a result I cannot access streaming services for the past ~24 hours.

Also since this issue started my internet keeps dropping and speeds are at most 3mb (Should be 500mb) and my Sky Stream which is wired and not on wifi keeps dropping out as a result so I cannot even watch Sky TV.

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

Hi, just an update, my service seems to have righted itself. I can now stream Now and local Irish TV. Thanks

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

Same 😊

Router IP has not changed, some geo location services still show the IP as being a UK address but it looks like NowTV is picking up the correct location as Ireland.

Thanks for your help 🙏

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

My IP is still geo locating to the UK today. Disney+ and services are still redirecting to UK websites 😞

Mine still wasn't working this morning, but Now TV is back working now.

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

Similar to above posts, NOW is working perfectly on all devices. The only remaining issue for me is the VIrgin TV app not working on my phone, although it is working on laptop so perhaps this will correct. Thanks to all Sky staff and community members for the help and input.

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

3rd night in a row no at 19:30 on the dot. My location is set to Uk instead of Ireland and speeds have dropped from 500mb to 1mb.

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

Have you unplugged modem for 1 hour? I think this is necessary to get fix.

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

Asked my neighbours in the whatsapp just now and at all the houses in my housing estate using sky seem to have the exact same issue with speeds dropping after 19:30 and constant UK located IP addresses.

Im on my phone now as internet is just gone.

Re: IPs have wrong geolocation ROI

My IP address updated this afternoon to Dublin 🙂

I called and spoke to the team at Sky and got great help as they confirmed an issue in my area was getting worked on causing the slow speeds at night. Hopefully its fixed soon but my IP issue is resovlved now.

Thanks
