I phone won’t connect to new router

Got new router but my I phone had yrounle connecting keeps coming up with this message

You have two choices, turn off iCloud private relay or switch off Sky broadband shield.

Does this mean my ip address is exposed to fraudsters as messsge suggests

No, the message does not mention fraudsters at all. It simply is telling you that rather than all your traffic going through Apple's servers using their public IPs, it just goes through whichever connection your using at the time, which in this case would be your Sky Broadband. Its simply that it makes it a bit easier for websites to use trackers to serve you more targeted ads rather than generic ones.
