Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@screerunner2 The older black Sky hubs do not have hardware thst supports either WPA3 or the WPA3-T transitional security level. The newer white Sky Max hub does support both standards but not all devices can acceptthe WPA3-T standard so cutomers often to set the hub to the lower WPA2 standard so all of their devices can connect.
If you have Sky Q boxes you may be better off sticking with the black Sky hub which is fully compatable with the Sky Q mesh meaning the TV boxes can act as WiFi extenders which they cannot do with the newer white hub. To get the white hub you would havecto buy Sky's WiFi Max bundle.
Not quite sure why you feel you need WPA3-T as WPA2 isxstill considered as secure for domestic users.
