I had a wifi split set up on my router for 2.4ghz and 5ghz on Monday I seem to have lost the 5ghz
So I had a split set up on my router for my ring doorbell on the 2.4ghz and everything else was on my 5ghz. As of Monday my 5ghz has disappeared and the wifi name says no Internet on it. Why has this happened is this something sky have done. Looks like my 2.4ghz is now both 5ghz and 2.4ghz and now my ring doorbell won't work again as it doesn't like it.
Any one else having this issue ?

@Bruce923 Its unlikely that there has been an applied change, but if your router has done a factory reset then it would return to the single ssid operation, have you looked back at the router to see if your split band has returned to single operation.
If when you look, and see it's still set for dual ssid, then suspect that your router may have developed a fault. If so you will need to contact sky for a replacement.
As you say, the ring camera is always the easy spot, they dont seem to like not being connected to the 2.4Ghz band and do have trouble if not set this way. If replacement required then you will have to set it all back up, but ring camera's do require a good connection to signal strength.
