Hub internet lights off

Hi 

my internet has been off for a few hours, I've tried all the steps but can't get to the end as I apparently have an open reach visit booked - this has just not been marked as completed from an issue 2 months ago! We have checked ont box, checked leads etc and rebooted hub leaving it unplugged for 10 mins. Lights are power - green, internet -off, next one is green and voice is amber. 
My son needs to get online for college submissions! Any suggestions??

@Kathryn+Wardlaw You have no Broadband connection, as you do not say what the ONT is like connection wise?

This link below provides information about the coloured lights on the various hubs that can help to see what is going on! If the system is also Full Fibre then the lights on the OR/CF ONT also require to be looked at!

The ONT lights are correct I believe I can't access it my husband checked before he left and said there were 2 green lights

@Kathryn+Wardlaw Then they are wrong, two is not enough, try reseting your sky Hub...

Normal is Power Solid Green, Pon Solid Green, Lan Flashing Green data back and forth so varies light intensity.

@Kathryn+Wardlaw if the lights on your Sky hub are off the unit is not running. Check the mains supply is working properly if it is call Sky to get the hub replaced as it sounds like it has failed.

@JimM1 re-reading the post it could be simply that the ethernet cable is not connected. If it isn't that the hub is likely to be faulty.

@Chrisee Thanks chrisee that's were i was heading trying to find out the ONT lights, and thinking it was the Lan out and the sky Hub locked up... Previous in Jan did not leave any detail but had similar fault connection.

@Kathryn+Wardlaw May be worth getting a mobile Picture capture of your ONT and it's lights when it is all in the working condition, good few different models out there now so get's harder to say without knowing what is lit/out and colours of the led's.

Thanks for trying to help, in January there was a fault in the area that they than fixed. 

I'll be ringing sky now as need to get it sorted

@Kathryn+Wardlaw No problems, would still advise you snap the ONT photo when it's all working, some ONT's are 3 lights, some are 4 lights so makes it awkward to work out what is going on hopefully the chart above helps but it is OR Openreach based for the Nokia/Adtran models CF CityFibre are different units.

Turned out to be an ONT box issue openreach came out and replaced it. Thanks for your help
