Hub admin password

Please can someone tell me how to reset admin password for the hub? I'm trying to use a WiFi blocker I have downloaded but asking me for admin password, it says the default is sky but that's not working? Thanks

@Nicmc2

For a black hub try either of these:

Username: admin

Password: sky

or Username: admin

Password - your Sky wifi password that is printed on the back of the hub.

@Nicmc2 not clear exactly what you are doing but you can reset any black Sky hub by pressing and holding in the reset pin until the power led flashes which takes up to 20 seconds. On the white hubs press and hold in the WPS button until the  led flashes green and then release. Once the hub restarts fully it will be on its factory default settings.

The admin password can be edited on the upright black Sky Broadband hubs while it defaults to matching the WiFi password on the label it is a separate field so changing the WiFi password wont change the admin password. You can do the same on the newer white hubs but given most of the customer settings are in the My Sky app and cannot be changed in thecweb interface its pretty pointless.

Software should have no need for a Hub password.  If you've downloaded something onto a Windows or Apple computer then it's the computer administrator password that's requires.
