How do I enable UPnP on the Sky router?

Hi, 

It seems that the Sky router is very locked down. Is it possible to enable UPnP? 

 

My VoIP phones are not working since switching to the SkyRouter.

@smithgt do you have a white or black Sky hub?

It's white - I Have FTTP if that makes a difference.

The toggle for UPnP is in the My Sky app, but you may well find that doesn't resolve the issue.

Where in the App?

 

Under Wifi/Advanced I only have Port Forwarding, DMZ, Disable Wifi & Wifi Security Level

@smithgt & @TimmyBGood unusually the uPNP setting is in the hub's web interface not the app see UPnP set up

 

However that setting may not sort your VOIP issue if it doesnt post again.as you will need ti get help from Sky.

The VOIP issue isn't resolved 😞

 

If I take the phone to another person's home network, the incoming calls are received okay.

 

At my home on the Sky router, no calls are received.

 

Do I need to create any port forwarding? (Ive not had to do this at the other locations) or is there another Sky related issue?

There's apparently an issue with the current firmware for the Max Hub and VoIP handsets: I can try escalation of your post to see if Sky will move it to a different version (as referenced in other forum threads)

type 192.168.0.1 into your search bar on the internet and the user name should "admin" and the password is your WiFi password. UPnP settings is on there somewhere as I enabled mine yesterday before my WiFi went down.

Hi

 

I had the same problem with SIP-ALG needing to be turned off for my VOIP phones.

I sent a ticket to https://www.sky.com/help/forms/vpn-configuratiuon

Explaining the issue, they replied and solved the issue with an update to my Router (new white one)

 

Ask them to turn off MAP-T
