Home move connection

Hi @skysky2 my wife moved home yesterday. Engineer called when on his way, accessed the house (my wife was not there) and then left without making further contact. It seems he connected the new broadband box but we do not have internet. 

 

According to Sky account, the new connection has not been activated and first available slot for a re-visit os 15 OCT.

 

My wife works from home and cannot be without internet. 

we don't understand why the engineer left without ensuring connection and at showing my wife how to work as it states when placing the order. Oh, and we upgraded. 

To say this is poor service is an understatement. Can we get an engineer to return this weekend and fix the connection?

This is a user community forum, you would need to check by calling sky if you are having a 2 stage installation.

 

Openreach engineer installs the new cable outside, and a sky engineer installs the inside.
