High ping/latency spikes

When gaming on my PC my ping will spike regularly from 30-40ms to 500ms+. I've done speed tests while this is happening and it still pulls around 80 mbps down. It happens in every online game. I'm connected to the router directly via cat 6 ethernet. Only started around 1-2 weeks ago. Is anyone having similar issues or have any solutions?

Is it on all games?

Could do with seeing your router stats when you are experiencing the ping spikes.

Your stats look fine, full 80mbps down & 20mbps up without any drops.

Is the issue occuring on all games or a certain one?

Quite odd. Could you post a ping test & packet loss test?
