Hi i have a strong burning smell from my modem and its too hot to touch.ive unplugged the modem

My modem has a burning smell .I've unplugged it also I have crackling on my phone line

@Gillian+25 that is most unusual and needs to be checked out I am therefore escalating your post to Sky who should be in touch to offer a private chat to get this sorted. Oncecthe chat is open a button will apoear for you on the forum pages.

 

In the meantime leave the Sky hub unplugged. Did you have a thunder storm yesterday by any chance?
