Help with broadband cost whilst on universal credit

I am on a low income with a universal credit top up.  I read I could be entitled to a discount on my broadband. Is this correct

@Magsh68

Bt is doing a home essentials 35Mbps at £15 pm (need to double check) for people on universal credit . Please read below for full info

Sky is doing a superfast 35Mbps at £25 but no mention of anything for low income families

Time to shop around and looks like I will be leaving sky soon as contract ends. Times are about to get real tough.

@Anonymous it's always good to check the prices of most of the providers to compare. Good luck  getting a decent price. 👍👍

Re: Help with broadband cost whilst on universal credit

Hello, I too have noticed Web pages regarding discounted fibre broadband @ £25 to £20 if claiming universal credit, depending on which services the discount is applied to?

Some newspapers are saying can say £90 on broadband?

If you search " sky help universal credit ", a few Web pages show this.

However no one from sky or on my app, emails or even phone or text to my account informing me of this discount? I tried to speak to sky but it seems no one knows about this.

It would be nice if I can reduce my amount, considering I've got multiple sky mobile sims and devices too
