Help! Sky are incorrectly cancelling my broadband with immediate effect

I called Sky today to ask them to cancel my service (broadband, phone, TV) on 8th March. When I got the email confirmation through it said Sky broadband will be cancelled today!! I've called back and been told there is nothing they can do so I will not have broadband from today... Any ideas how i get reconnected immediately?

If you're out of contract, if you cancel your subscription there is a 14 notice period so imo the service shouldn't be disconnected until Friday 8 March. You may need to call again.

Yes, I thought there is always a notice period but i've been told they can't stop the cancellation and now there will be a 14 day reconnection period!
