Help !! Please
Can someone please help me, !! Every night at least 2 or3 times in an evening i have to put my password in as sky tells me im not connected to the internet,
Now i dont have my broadband with Sky, i have it with KCom and they tell me its a Sky issue mainly as Sky doesnt have a strong signal here, the signal used to always seemed to drop out around 8.30pm and you could set your watch by it, now its all different times but its a pain in the backside .
Can anyone please tell me why this could be happening and how do i stop it from happening again
Thanks in Advance.......
Tray .

Re: Help !! Please
If your broadband isn't with Sky, where are you putting this password?
If it's a Sky television box then KCOM is being a bit naughty.

Re: Help !! Please
Hiya,
Kcom has the phone and broadband, and sky does the tele and yes kcom is greedy, it has the monopoly around Hull and outwards, and will not let anyone else come in, ~I did have sky broadband before but the signal wasnt very strong, and to upgrade it was silly money so had. no option really i had to go with Kcom

Re: Help !! Please
OK: the WiFi from a KCOM router to a Sky television box is absolutely a KCOM issue and nothing to do with a 'weak Sky signal in the area'.
Can't blame KCOM from their monopoly of phone and internet though: that goes back over a century.

If you had Sky BB then it can't be a monopoly for Kcom surely?
Kcom of course are talking nonsense. Perhaps if it's a Sky Q box go into the settings and turn off Eco mode? If you could plug an ethernet cable between the two, that would (hopefully) sort things out for you. Otherwise, if it is a WiFi issue, can you reposition the router and/or the Q box?

Re: Help !! Please
It's a fascinating anomaly on the UK telecoms network.
