Having trouble connecting my printer to my router.

My HP photo smart printer won't connect to the router. It picks up the network and asks for the password. I enter the correct password but it won't connect.

Try seperating the wifi bands so you have 2 ssids and allocate the printer to 2.4ghz

@L+Ann quite a frequent issue with HP printers unfortunately. A factory reset can often sort it - how you do that varies with model- as can connecting the printer to a laptop or similar by USB then updating its firmware.

Re: Having trouble connecting my printer to my router.

Thanks for the answer. I actually managed to set up a direct Wi-Fi link from my iPad to my printer, which works okay for me, so I don't think I will attempt your solution. It sounds a bit above my pay grade!
