Going from another provider
Hi.
I've been on the phone for fourty minutes setting up my new broadband and phone contract. My old EE account ends on 15 October 2026. Your SKY sales representative informed me your SKY engineer would be at my property on Thursday 8 October 2026.
I've just received a text message from SKY - that states your engineer is not coming until after the end date of my last contract & it's now 21 October 2026.
Does this mean that I will be left without WIFI & without a landline connection between 15 - 21 Oct?

If you are using the switching service then your EE service should continue to work until your Sky service is installed (if this is what is happening) and then activated, there might be a short downtime if Openreach are installing the line for fibre but it shouldn't be to long if your installation and activation dates are the same.

Re: Going from another provider
Hello Superuser,
Thank you so much for helping me out with an answer to my concern. This has given me such peace of mind, I really can't be disconnected for a major length of time.
Kind regards.
Sam
