Hi All.
I have Gigabit FTTP. The speed to the hub since 28 August according to MySky is about 670 Mbps. The minimum guarantee is 600 and "normal" is 780-930.
First question, I am likely to be struck above the minimum guaranteed but below the normal range?
I have Sky Q and 2 minis all
on WiFi. They are transmitting hot spots.
I have one Booster SR201 connected by Ethernet to the Hub (SR203).
Wifi speeds are all over the place. 450 by the hub sometimes. Occasionally 500. Everywhere else 20 - 300.
What would you do to improve WiFi speeds and keep compatibility with Sky Q?
I am within 14/31 day cancellation period and am
womdering if I am better off elsewhere.

The 'Q mesh' signal transmitted by Q television boxes dates back to early 2016, and was never intended to sling gigabit FTTP around a domestic property because that just didn't exist at the time.

Yes, I agree. That is one part of the issue, namely slinging the WiFi around the property.
The other is the bandwidth actually coming to the property and why so far below 930 to the hub.
However, all idea and comments appreciated.

Thanks Peter.
I hope I am correct in taking the measurement from the MySky App of the speed/ bandwidth as it arrives at the hub before WiFi begins its perilous journey around the house.
I haven't run an Ethernet cable to a PC/ Mac to mesure anything.
I have used speed tests to assess the variability of WiFi around the home. My range is about 500, occasionally, often about 340-420 a couple of feet from the router. At times it can go elsewhere in the house from 20 - 300 (the latter bear the booster).
